About Us

The Theta Chapter of Mu Epsilon Delta was founded on July 3rd, 2024, at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University by a dedicated group of six founding members. This chapter proudly holds the distinction of being the first co-ed chapter within the United Councils for Fraternities and Sororities under the VT Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) community.

Our members have been actively involved in a wide array of brotherhood and service events, demonstrating our commitment to fostering a supportive and engaged community within the Montgomery County region. We have organized numerous activities designed to strengthen our bonds and provide meaningful contributions to our community.

Our chapter have also established valuable partnerships with both national and local organizations, including the Gift of Life, the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), the Pre-PA Platform, and others. These collaborations have enriched our chapter’s activities and expanded our impact, allowing us to participate in and support various initiatives that align with our mission and values.

Our History

The University of Tennessee at Martin holds the distinction of being the founding chapter of our organization, established in 1965. Over the years, Mu Epsilon Delta has expanded nationally, and today, there are eight chapters across the country. The organization's colors, red and gold, symbolize its vibrant spirit and commitment to excellence. Since its creation, Mu Epsilon Delta has been dedicated to supporting students through its core pillars of brotherhood, service, and scholarship. The organization fosters a strong sense of community among its members, encourages active participation in workshops & guest speakers, and promotes the development of leadership skills essential for future success in out respective specialties in healthcare.

Greetings,

My name is Kyle Crosby and I am honored to serve as the President and Co-Founder of the Theta Chapter of Mu Epsilon Delta. I am thrilled to lead such a dynamic and dedicated group of individuals committed to pursuing excellence in healthcare and beyond.

As President, my primary goal is to foster an environment where each member feels supported and empowered to achieve their academic and professional aspirations. Mu Epsilon Delta has always stood for more than just an organization; it is a community built on the principles of brotherhood, service, and leadership. I am very passionate about starting this legacy and ensuring that our chapter not only meets, but exceeds the standards of excellence that define us.

In the coming year, I am excited to focus on enhancing our programs and activities to provide even greater opportunities for growth and development. From organizing medical skills workshops to hosting guest speakers and networking events, our aim is to create meaningful experiences that enrich both our personal and professional lives as future healthcare leaders.

I believe that our collective efforts and shared commitment will drive us forward, making Mu Epsilon Delta a beacon of support and success in the healthcare field.
